HOW TO BUILD YOUR THESIS PPT!

If you've already made it to the graduation exam, you've cleared the hurdles. To help you do well in the finals, we'll help you build your graduation ppt!

In general, your thesis ppt should be clean. The reviewers don't really like too much colour, different shapes, arrows and gifs. They often even specify that the essay assistant background of the slide should be white. Avoid transitions, animations between slide changes. So in terms of appearance, aim for simplicity and transparency. Use one or two colours to highlight headings or important parts. For example, if you have written your thesis about a brand or company, you could use the colours associated with that brand or company, thus reinforcing the coherence between your thesis topic and your thesis ppt.

For legibility, use 20 pt font size in your thesis ppt. Smaller figure captions should be in 12 pt font, but never smaller than 12 pt.

Length

The maximum time allowed for the presentation of your thesis ppt is usually 10 minutes, so it is not recommended to go towards 25 slides. Usually 15-20 slides are sufficient to present the results perfectly, so it is not advisable to create a presentation longer than this. It is also important to be careful not to try to cram the whole thesis into these 15-20 slides. Only highlight the main points in bullet points and use diagrams, graphs and charts to illustrate the results.

Content

The purpose of the thesis ppt is to show where you have got to in the process of writing your thesis. So the focus should be on the results. Every thesis ppt should have a title page with the title of the thesis, the name of the student, the name of the advisor and the year of the thesis. Then briefly explain how the thesis was structured and the main chapters of the research. After presenting the outline of the thesis, describe the hypotheses or research questions that we have investigated in our thesis. Describe the research methods used and then discuss the results.

Graphs and diagrams are the best way of presenting the results, so feel free to include them in your thesis ppt. Of course, it is not necessary to present all the results. We highlight the results that are relevant to the hypotheses/research questions and those that we find interesting and useful. If we have made suggestions on the topic, we will include our suggestions in the thesis ppt. We thank you for your attention on the last slide.

Questions suggested by the assessor to be asked in the final exam

In many cases, the examiner's suggested questions to be asked in the final exam will be given out in advance. These buy descriptive essay can be included in the graduation ppt after the last (Thank you!) slide. You do not need to present these slides during the presentation, so stop the presentation at the final slide. Only move on when the committee asks the assigned questions that you have prepared in advance. This way, it does not seem as if we are trying to prove our competence, but if it is asked, we can show that we have come to the final exam prepared.
